Is it impolite for me to stay silent when people say they like my "diamond" ring?
My engagement ring is actually cubic zirconia. I won’t go into boring details but I personally loathe De Beers and the artificially raised price of diamonds, so I refuse to wear them. I’ve been married 10 years and people love to say how huge my "diamond" is. I usually just smile because I know they can’t tell the difference between cubic zirconia and diamonds. I also don’t want to annoy them by bashing De Beers and diamonds. My mother in law makes a lot of snarky remarks about my "fake" ring, but I personally don’t give a hoot what she says about anything. What’s the best manners on this issue?
Mork, I picked the ring I wanted. My husband respected my wishes. Luckily for him, I care more about saving money for important things like retirement and my children’s college funds than my own vanity. Why are you in the etiquette section if you have no manners yourself?
I think you are within your rights to refrain from entering into an explanation every time someone admires your ring.
More and more brides are opting for non-diamond engagement rings, using estate pieces (not new or recently mined stones) and choosing emeralds, rubies and even pearls for their beauty and because they don’t want to just have another diamond like everybody else.
If you have not chosen your anniversary band, consider a band made with the two birthstones of you and your husband imbedded in it (small stones) and those of your children if you have any and discontinue wearing that large engagement ring.
I cannot understand why your mother-in-law continues, after a decade, to make disparaging remarks about your ring. Didn’t her own son purchase it? Isn’t it worn daily by her own daughter-in-law, who she should love and respect her feelings as a member of the family?
Don’t bother informing people of the origins of the ring. Politely tell your mother in law that a decade of making hurtful or mocking comments about a ring that holds sentimental value to you is ENOUGH.
Best of luck and happy 10th!

Just say "thank you". You are not obligated to whip out a GIA certificate every time someone asks you about it. It’s none of their business anyway.

Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005)
IMDB rating: 8.00
Plot: It’s ‘vege-mania’ in Wallace and Gromit’s neighborhood, and our two enterprising chums are cashing in with their humane pest-control outfit, “Anti-Pesto.” With only days to go before the annual Giant Vegetable Competition, business is booming, but Wallace & Gromit are finding out that running a “humane” pest control outfit has its drawbacks as their West Wallaby Street home fills to the brim with captive rabbits. Suddenly, a huge, mysterious, veg-ravaging “beast” begins attacking the town’s sacred vegetable plots at night, and the competition hostess, Lady Tottington, commissions Anti-Pesto to catch it and save the day. Lying in wait, however, is Lady Tottington’s snobby suitor, Victor Quartermaine, who’d rather shoot the beast and secure the position of local hero-not to mention Lady Tottingon’s hand in marriage. With the fate of the competition in the balance, Lady Tottington is eventually forced to allow Victor to hunt down the vegetable chomping marauder. Little does she know that Victor’s real intent could have dire consequences for her …and our two heroes.

 Aladdin (1992)
IMDB rating: 7.70
Plot: Aladdin is a street-urchin who lives in a large and busy town long ago with his faithful monkey friend Abu. When Princess Jasmine gets tired of being forced to remain in the palace that overlooks the city, she sneaks out to the marketplace, where she accidentally meets Aladdin. Under the orders of the evil Jafar (the sultan’s advisor), Aladdin is thrown in jail and becomes caught up in Jafar’s plot to rule the land with the aid of a mysterious lamp. Legend has it that only a person who is a “diamond in the rough” can retrieve the lamp from the Cave of Wonders. Aladdin might fight that description, but that’s not enough to marry the princess, who must (by law) marry a prince.

Using all your wisdom as a wrestling fan, can u tell me what makes these 6 names…(more inside)?
1. Giant Gonzales
2. King Kong Bundy
3. Big Boss Man
4. Big Show
5. A-Train
6. Mark Henry
Deserve to be included on the same list with greats (or at least considered by WWE as greats)which are:
1. Jimmy ‘The Superfly’ Snuka
2. Jake ‘ The Snake’ Roberts ‘
3.Big Daddy Cool’ Diesel (Kevin Nash),
4. Sycho ‘ The Ruler of The World’ Sid (I know he s*cked, but Taker carried him into a classic)
5. ‘The Big Red Machine/Monster’ Kane
6. ‘The Game’ Triple H
7. ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair
8. ‘The Legend Killer/ The Viper’ Randy Orton
9. ‘The Animal’ Batista (Same as Sid, Taker carried him into a classic although he s*cks)
10. ‘The Rated R Superstar/The Ultimate Opportunist’ Edge
11. ‘The Heartbreak Kid, Mr. Wrestlemania, The Showstopper, The Headliner, and The Main Event’ Shawn Michaels.
Needless to say, those six nobodies successfully lessen the credibility of The Streak. The Streak could have gotten Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Stone Cold or The Rock, Chris Benoit or Eddie Guerrero, and Kurt Angle on it but it never got those names and never will. So, can u tell me why?
Oh, and please don’t answer with Vince’s love for giants. I’m tired of that reason.
Kevin Nash, despite being a leech, is one of the biggest names in sports entertainment.
Big Show is nothing compared to Nash.
Alot of trolls answered this question…
Gonzales- At the time he was a big thing, at the time he added credibillity of the streak. He was undefeated, or had very little losses. He was 7′6. The match sucked but still, at the time, added credibillity.
Bundy- He was a super heavyweight, he was just there to prove The Undertaker can easily take people out: Super Heavyweight, Giants, Speed and Normal. He is worthless now since he’s defeated the liked of Big Show or Mark Henry.
Boss Man- He was apart of the corporate feud or something. I forgot what, but he was apart of Undertaker/Vince feud or something I forgot what. He is useless for streak.
Big Show- He is probably the best 7" + wrestler there is. He can actually wrestle well and sell, and unlike alot of other giants, isn’t foreign, so automatically he isn’t a jobber (WWE are very racist). He adds credibillity.
Mark Henry- WWE tried to push him and failed, but still gave Mark H some credibillity, because at the time he sucked, but 2 matches with The Deadman made Mark H seem like a good wrestler, although it was Taker carrying the whole match.
I think the following people should be out of Undertaker’s streak:
Big Boss Man (replaced by somebody else).
Mark Henry (replaced by somebody else).
King Kong Bundy (replaced by somebody else).
And Gonzales (replaced by somebody else).

you tke your pro wrestling a litte too serious….. calm down its not personal
yeah and the 49′ers beat the bengals twice in the SuperBowl but we dont discount the 49ers as a dynasty just because looking back the bengals have become a joke… instead we call joe montana the best qb ever because he won 4 SB’s its really the same at the time those were more intriguing match-ups based on the angles used to set them up.
Bundy was far past his prime but he was one of the greats of the 80’s who still had some credibility with the crowd he was used to help get taker over
i would consider kane " the fake diesel" as much of a bad mark as anyone you listed
the taker "streak" is a gimmick when he finally loses you will know he has finally retired for real. it will probably be in a match with rey mysterio who will end the taker’s run
froggy_logic | Jan 31, 2010
Oh God. I’m still laughing at the first one.
In my opinion, I wouldn’t add all 6 to the list. Giant was a horribly bad joke.
If Pete Rose can make it into the WWE Hall of Fame then I guess those 6 can be added to the list. :/

Shorter question plz
Eishibashi | Jan 31, 2010
Big Show is not a nobody, Kevin Nash is a nobody
Big T | Jan 31, 2010
100% agreed, I mean you’d think Vince would acknowledge he made the mistake of putting Undertaker with crappy matches with giants, but then he puts Mark Henry with the undertaker at wm 22?!?!, WTF!!!!
oh well, at least now, Undertaker is now facing main event wrestlers now, and is always having awesome wm matches (after wm 22).

Plot: Dan Foreman is headed for a shakeup. He is demoted from head of ad sales for a major magazine when the company he works for is acquired in a corporate takeover. His new boss, Carter Duryea, is half his age—a business school prodigy who preaches corporate synergy. While Dan develops clients through handshake deals and relationships, Carter cross-promotes the magazine with the cell phone division and Krispity Krunch, an indeterminate snack food under the same corporate umbrella. Both men are going through turmoil at home. Dan has two daughters, Alex, age 18, and Jana, age 16, and is shocked when his wife tells him she’s pregnant with a new child. Carter, in the meanwhile, is dumped by his wife of seven months just as he gets his promotion. Dan and Carter’s uneasy friendship is thrown into jeopardy when Carter falls for, and begins an affair with, Dan’s daughter Alex.

How do I become Sexually attracted to my boyfriend again?
We went through a big rough patch and almost broke up for good. Months later things have gotten much better and we’re starting to act like a couple again and enjoy each others company. But I’m finding that I’m not sexually attracted to him anymore. Like I will be sexually attracted to someone else but for some reason i just don’t feel it with him anymore. I want to, but it’s just not there. Is there a way to fix it? Or is the relationship doomed based on lack of sexual prowess since it means so much to him? I know I still love him very dearly but for some reason that spark just isn’t there anymore.
Please only mature answers and please don’t make fun of me as I’m genuinely concerned.

how much does a beginer in the wwe make?
Im would love to become a profesional wrestler for the WWE i have looked into the schooling at FCW I just want to know what a female rookie would make.
half a million
Super sapien | Feb 04, 2010
Not sure how much Divas make, but I’d go and get some good training first. Look in to Shimmer Women’s Athletes. It’s the best women’s wrestling in the world and housed women like Beth Phoenix in the past.
Louie | Feb 04, 2010
Schooling at FCW? FCW ain’t a school moron! It’s a tryout school. Meaning that people with at least 2 years experience can try out for a FCW contract.
But who is to know IF you will make it in WWE? FCW can still fire you?
Also I would say a rookie makes bout $2000 for the most.
Also why bother you clearly got no knowledge on the damn biz anyway.
Go to school and get an actual job. Not some fricking school dropouts millionare life style job.
