Law enforcement has failed to demonstrate that marijuana laws can be enforced fairly without regard to race; far too often minorities are arrested for marijuana use while white/non-Hispanic Americans face a much lower risk of arrest.

Marijuana’s legalization would simplify the development of hemp as a valuable and diverse agricultural crop in the United States, including its development as a new bio-fuel to reduce carbon emissions. Canada and European countries have managed to support legal hemp cultivation without legalizing marijuana, but in the United States opposition to legal marijuana remains the biggest obstacle to development of industrial hemp as a valuable agricultural commodity. As US energy policy continues to embrace and promote the development of bio-fuels as an alternative to oil dependency and a way to reduce carbon emissions, it is all the more important to develop industrial hemp as a bio-fuel source - especially since use of hemp stalks as a fuel source will not increase demand and prices for food, such as corn. Legalization of marijuana will greatly simplify the regulatory burden on prospective hemp cultivation in the United States.

Anyone have a bad experience with Best Buy, specifically buying a flatscreen tv and promised complete hookup?
Then the ones who delivered it just plopped the tv down out of the box and refused to connect even one cable, telling me that I had to call my cable company to hook it up. This after I was reassuringly promised free hookup by the salesperson. The delivery monkey then refused to do anything but take the tv out of the box and I had to call the cable company and get them to come hook it up for $40. This was my experience with Best Buy, the largest national retailer of audio and video products. Even when I tried to call Best Buy to complain about the egregious attitude of the deliveryman, it took me an hour to get through to a live person and when I finally did I was given the runaround.

No, I have not had that experience. Best Buy can hook up Home Theatre systems and stuff. But I would try to check with smaller companies or stores for that installation, if the cable company wants to charge you for installation, screw em’.

Seriously, get Satellite. We live in a market economy. I had Comcast for years, and they not only charged me $50 for extended basic cable, but the picture quality was shabby, and their service was okay. At dish, I don’t get the "local" service man to come by the next day, but their franchisors can fix stuff if I call for an appointment. Since dish is in competition with cable they installed everything for free, if you hesitate a little bit they will throw in extras too. I got a dvr for $8 a month, lot’s of HD channels, free installation and equipment, and all of it has been working really well. The channels are clear and crisp. All of it cheaper than cable.

Big companies only become unresponsive when there is no competition. Apple and Microsoft have forced each other to build a better customer experience. Choose with your wallet, Comcast will hurt, and when they keep adding on fees and raising prices something will eventually break.

But I am going with Bedtime Stories, it was great to see Adam Sandler do a family film, even through I wouldn’t even picture him, in a Disney movie, or in a family film at all.
