What religion/teaching do I belong to?
- Jesus was just a prophet.
- It belittles god to say it doesn’t love everyone.
- Evolution is strongly supported by evidence through methodical and careful research. I trust the evidence.
- I think any politician stating their religion is taking the lord’s name in vein and is a sin.
- I don’t believe that god favors any person over another.
- I don’t think my religious views should be applied to others i.e. I believe in secular governments and organizations.
- I believe religion must be discovered and that recruitment should never occur unless the person asks for it.
I wouldn’t worry to much about "what religion" you are.
Labels and names are overrated.
Paul E | Nov 24, 2009
You don’t belong to any. You’ve got somewhat of Muslim belief and some secular beliefs. You’d fall into the category of something in between, the way i see it.
snezhinka | Nov 24, 2009
Maybe Unitarian Universalism?
Ary T | Nov 24, 2009
your own. it is certainly not Christianity.
Mr E | Nov 24, 2009
Your beliefs do not seem to hold with any one religion. The belief that Jesus was "just" a prophet is an Islamic belief. Also, Islam recognizes evolution and one of the names of God (from 1400 years ago) is "The Evolver". And, your belief that religious views are very personal and should never be forced on another person also falls in line with Islamic belief.
You may find it enlightening to study a little about Islam and see just how closely your views coincide. I’m including a link to an informational website for non-muslims who just want to understand more about the religion.
Mel | Nov 24, 2009
You do not need to "belong" to a certain religion.
Just think what you think and belief what you belief. When you get over this then you are not religious, and you are not athiest. You are a FREE THINKER.
Only then you are free. And only then one can become his own philosopher.

Rugrats in Paris
|
 Rugrats in Paris (2000)
IMDB rating: 4.80
Plot: The second theatrical film from the popular television show is better than the original surprise hit. Instead of delving into their rich fantasy life, the Rugrats gang goes on a real adventure when their families visit Paris together. Mr. Pickles is brought over to fix his giant Reptar robot, the centerpiece of EuroReptarland (a biting version of the trouble-plagued EuroDisney). The underlying story has Chuckie (the one with the square glasses) looking for a new mommy, as his dad (who has a square personality) starts to fall for a villainous executive (voiced by Susan Sarandon). Soon Paris takes it on the chin as the diaper gang tries to save Chuckie’s dad from the altar. The success of the Rugrats is in the writing, where much thought goes into finding comic gems for the adults (there are wonderful parodies of The Godfather and King Kong that will sail over kids’ heads). The garble-mouthed youngsters keep up their joyful ways in this 78-minute feature that feels no different from their Nickelodeon series except in length, some 3-D animation sequences, and an eclectic song score (with Cyndi Lauper’s “I Want a Mom That Will Last Forever” the real catch). (Ages 6 and older)

I have a question on Inkheart!?
Do you think Inkheart is a good book, and which do you like better? The book or the movie?
I liked both but it was a long time for me between the two and since the movie wasn’t that popular I did not expect to be as good as it was.
There are a few movies I liked better than the books like Lord of the Rings and The Princess Bride.
It is hard to compare movies to books because the mediums are so different.
chorle | Nov 15, 2009
Book. Definitely.
Spotty | Nov 14, 2009
The book is way better. There’s no way the movie could be even remotely as good.

I absolutely loved the Inkheart Trilogy (Inkheart, Inkspell, and Inkdeath), and I have to say that the book was much better than the movie.

Can some one tell me the dog breed?!?
Can anyone tell me what breed of dog Riley is from Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Francisco? All the other dogs in the gang are pure-breeds and if Riley is a mutt, what is the closest breed you would think he is?
Yes riley the leader of the gang of street dogs right? yes he was a mutt, but im not sure what was in him. But the rest were pure breds i believe.
delilah was a kuvasz
sledge was an aussie, just undersized
bando was a blue tick coonhound
stokey was a portuguese podengo medio
spike was a terrier of some kind, might have been parson.
riley was a mix
the two some trouble makers
ashcan was a boxer

What is this martial arts style called?
I’ve looked all over but I can’t find out what this style is called. Jackie Chan used it in ‘Shanghai Noon’ with a rope and horseshoe. Jet Li used it in ‘Romeo Must Die’ with a fire hose. GoGo used it in ‘Kill Bill Vol 1′ with a ball and chain. And Freddy Prince used it in ‘Scooby Doo’ with mountain climbing gear. Its when you have a heavy object at the end of a rope and you twirl it around, step on it, tangle yourself in it, dance with it and all the while knockin’ people out. Whats this style called!?
its not a martial art style but a weapon called a meteor hammer. you can learn more about it at:

Please critique the latest poem?
– This is based on Ayn Rand’s novel Atlas Shrugged. (Didn’t really like the book all that much but the poem is for school so oh well.)
The Prime Mover (Title
Step back respectfully, traveler of the road;
Here is a man with a true and hard moral code:
Reason his sole weapon, Knowledge his treasure trove,
His life is his happiness, and his only true love;
‘Never leaving task nor obligation undone,
This man is a trader; his work and reward are one.
He is, undoubtedly, the happiest man in the world,
The ideal embodiment of reason unfurled.
Honest, honorable and logical, he truly knows how to "be."
While most men live in agony, he stands in lasting ecstasy;
Beware of this man. He has everything to live for –
He will not bow to mindless force; he strives for rationality, and nothing more.
Mediocre man plays the game of life — he fails, the ultimate loser;
This man, uniquely ideal, wins the trophy: The World’s Prime Mover.
And now you, traveler on the road of life, ask: Who?
The answer lies in this question I shall give you.
Here stands the immortal cry; so, Halt! :
Who is John Galt?
do any of you find that it demonstrates the character john galt of atlas shrugged?
Keep the answers coming please, it’s for a school poem, and vitorrio that was obscene.
GREAT.
You are really good.

Why does the Bible command to rip open pregnant women?
Hosea 13:16 (New Living Translation) - The people of Samaria must bear the consequences of their guilt because they rebelled against their God. They will be killed by an invading army, their little ones dashed to death against the ground, their pregnant women ripped open by swords."
Hosea 13:16 (King James) Samaria will bear her guilt because she has rebelled against her God.
They will fall by the sword; their little ones will be dashed to pieces, and their pregnant women ripped open.
WHERE IN THE QURAN DOES IT SAY TO RIP ANYONE OPEN?
QURAN SAYS
If it had been thy Lord’s will, they would all have believed,- all who are on earth! wilt thou then COMPEL mankind, against their will, to believe! (The Noble Quran, 10:99)"
"But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in God: for He is One that heareth and knoweth (all things). (The Noble Quran, 8:61)"
IT IS CLEAR THAT THE BIBLE HAS BEEN CORRUPTED AND HAS ATRIBUTTED VIOLENT ACTS TO THE MESSENGERS OF ALLAH.
it was a command
Samaria was invaded
You guys really think i dont know what im talking about?
let me quote some other verses to make myself clear
32-37
And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land. 32 Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz. 33 And the LORD our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people. 34 And we took all his cities at that time, and UTTERLY DESTROYED the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain. 36 From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us
More?
Deuteronomy 20:13-20
And when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword (even the unarmed ones):
Go to the context !
lets look at the above verse in context
Deuteronomy 20:13-20
13 And when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword (even the unarmed ones):
14 But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.
15 Thus shalt thou do unto all the cities which are very far off from thee, which are not of the cities of these nations.
16 But of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth:
17 But thou shalt utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee:
18 That they teach you not to do after all their abominations, which they have done unto
Look how Bible says that a prophet killed 42 children
Kings 2
From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some youths came out of the town and jeered at him. "Go on up, you baldhead!" they said. "Go on up, you baldhead!"
He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the LORD . Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths.
Yeah, I thought that was the job of abortion doctors.
Also, you suck at getting verse context. WOW. You RIPPED that verse apart didn’t you? It doesn’t say that at all.
It’s observing… not commanding.

God is not commanding that this must happen but just prophesying that it will happen from an invading army.
forgiven490 | Dec 18, 2009
The consequences of sin called for that to happen, because they were worshiping the gods of the nations around them, and God told them in the law what would happen. Did the terrorists ( most came from Saudi Arabia, a Muslim nation ) who hit the twin towers care about the people they killed? Those terrorists are now in hell, and all terrorists who don’t repent and ask Jesus to forgive them will join them. BTW, who is responsible for a holy jihad?
Ernie | Dec 18, 2009
C’mon now, Irtaza,
You know very well this is not a command and definitely not from the God of the Bible.
If I said to you that there will be a revolution in Saudi Arabia and the ruling family will lose their life, does that mean I am responsible for it happening.
Does that mean I caused it?
Does that mean I approve?
You know, I’m only commenting on it.
Uncle Thesis | Dec 18, 2009
The horrible judgment as God pronounces that which is going to happen. Not that which God brought–that which they brought upon themselves because they would not turn to God.
thundercatt9 | Dec 18, 2009
I don’t even know if you are a true Muslim or not nor should I care.
But let me extend your logic to the extreme. Okay? Everything that man does is because God did it.
That is not logical. Godless men who attacked Samaria did cruel things to people in that day. And we read of men doing the same thing in our day. These are events outside of the Bible times.
The Bible describes human nature which has not changed at all. It is depraved and evil and wants to destroy. Only the love of God can counter that. Only the love of God wants to redeem man of his sinful killing self.
Take care.
Uncle Remus 54 | Dec 18, 2009
Good question. REad it again carefully. Nowhere does God "command" that pregnant women be ripped open. In Hosea 12:14, it shows that Israel was guilty of massive bloodshed, and in 13:1,2, it shows that they had left God and were worshipping Baal, which meant that they were practicing child sacrifice. How do YOU feel about child sacrifice? In many places in Isaiah he plainly said that He would abandon them to their enemies, withdrawing His protection, since they had abandoned Him, and that those enemies were guilty of the practices you mention. Since they broke their covenant with God, God simply abandoned them for a while, although He later rescued them, as the next chapter (14) shows.
Best regards,
Mike
Mike M. | Dec 18, 2009
you are saying that is a command from Heaven written in the bible ,it is not, but rather it is prophecy.
what you are reading/writing to us here is a past prophecy of what did happen as if looking into a future time travel machine to see what will happen and then writing about it.
past fulfilled prophecy and that yet to be fulfilled is 1 of the 7 proofs of Yahvah’s existence / Divinity .

 Man Between, The (1953)
IMDB rating: 7.00
Plot: “It wasn’t a particularly good story, but I liked the atmosphere of Berlin after the war, and I wanted to work again with James Mason.” Thus did director Carol Reed explain his decision to return to thrillers with The Man Between. Unfortunately, political conditions forced Reed out of Berlin before shooting wrapped, compelling him to complete the picture in the studio. Even so, the story of East Berliner Ivo Kern (Mason) who rescues Susanne Mallison (Claire Bloom), a British woman trapped in the Soviet Zone, is a minor masterpiece of suspense. Despite great danger to himself, Kern takes it upon himself to escort Mallison back to her family in West Berlin. After a daring dash through the countryside, the seeming impossible is achieved—but only through a conspicuous act of self sacrifice. Never completely satisfied with The Man Between, Carol Reed grudgingly admitted “It made back its money.”

What did you expect he would give himself ? In this day and age where teachers give kids grades,
no one is accountable for anything, Gov. Tax cheats. Holley wood politicians flying to Cuba.
Hell he will be Man of the Year.
