How can I make my project interesting?
S we have a history project on Dictators. Am I becoming a vampire?
Ok before I start I’d like to say my last question got deleted not sure why but good work to whoever reported me Thumbs up!!

Honestly I’m not joking around so to all of you who think I am then go answer some other questions were you can actually give an answer to, great now we’ve got that out the way!!

I actually think I might possibly be becoming a vampire, I’ve got over the fact that I thought I might be becoming crazy because if I were I wouldn’t be living ordinary every day life now would I? Also Id be going around asking people I actually know but I’m not doing that I’m on the net asking complete randoms what they think.

My symptoms are..

Cold skin all the time but HOT face..
Extreme thirst from blood which has actually lead to me biting someone..
I have vampire teeth…
The smell of food makes me sick and eating it is extremely hard.
Our cats went missing/ran away were not sure what happened..
I feel like I’m better than everyone else when of course I’m not..
I feel like I don’t care about anyone or anything..

What I don’t feel is

I’m not getting stronger faster prettier or any other ordinary talents?? I’m 16 years old..

Ok vampires are not real as it is impossible for the human body to consume alot of blood.

Vampires though are not like in Twilight, and I am a big fan so I wish they were, but they are like real people, they do not Sparkle/burn in sunlight. They age, and they are just like regular people, they can eat regular food, and they drink blood. They, do not usually get stronger or faster, or prettier, thats all movie stuff, just like Witches they don’t shoot stuff out of there hands (as a example). Its all movie based beliefs.

Yea a lot of these people are totally being rude. I think that you may possibly be becoming a vampire. I’m not sure. It could just be a phase. For instance, the smell of food used to make me want to barf and i couldn’t even eat because everything tasted too gross. My rabbits became afraid of me and my dog would bark at me when he saw me. and not just my dog, but dogs in general. I used and still do sometimes watch peoples veins and could see their pulse and it made my mouth water to imagine their blood (yea that kinda sick) and i don’t care about anyone in particular or anything save for a few hobbies even now. The last part about you not getting faster stronger prettier etc could just be a stereo type. I don’t know it could be a phase like what happened/happening to me. I’m 15 but you sound like you possibly could be a vampire.

You are probably over analyzing things, interpreting these events to relate to Twilight. Its almost like wishful thinking.

For example: I have a friend who’s the pickiest eater with a sensitive stomach and everything she eats makes her feel sick after wards. Her cat went missing and most likely got eaten by a coyote. And she has anxiety and panic attacks that leave her feeling empty and emotionless afterward. Everyone has canines and biting is a fetish that many people possess. This does not mean that she or others are vampires.

Oh and getting stronger, faster, and prettier are clearly influenced from Stephanie Meyers.

When you get over this phase, you’ll look back at this and think "Wow, that was really dumb."

Can my neice claim my daughter on her income tax return?
My daughter has been living with my niece since August 2008. I pay child support (not court ordered) to my niece for my daughter staying with her (their choice, not mine). Now she is raising cain and making threats about getting me in trouble with the IRS for using her on my taxes last year. She is also saying no matter what, she is claiming her on her income taxes this coming season. Can she claim her? Doesn’t she have to be her legal guardian or parent or have legal custody of her?

The IRS goes by where the child is sleeping at night.

Since the child is NOT sleeping at your house, you can’t claim her as a qualifying child.

However, since your niece and your daughter are COUSINS, she can’t claim her as a qualifying child either (and yes, the IRS will ask for the birth certificates so they will figure this out).

In order for your niece to claim her as a qualifying relative (not for HOH, not for EIC and not for the child tax credit), your niece has to prove she had her all year *and* she personally provided more than half of her support. Your child support money is money YOU provided not her.

Have your neice do the support test in irs pub 501, page 20. if you paid more than half, you get to claim her; if she pays more than half she does–but only as a qualifying relative. Neither one of you gets HOH, EIC or the child tax credit.

Legal custody is irrelevant so let’s get that out of the way first off. The next point is that since your daughter did not live in your home for more than half of 2009, YOU cannot claim her at all under the Qualifying Child rule. Unless you can prove that you provided more than half of her support (unlikely but not impossible) you can’t claim her under the Qualifying Relative rule either..

Beyond that, it’s really irrelevant as to whether your niece can claim your daughter or not from your perspective. A cousin can’t be claimed as a Qualifying Child but if she provided more than half of your daughter’s support she can claim her as a Qualifying Relative.

The best bet is for you and your niece to sit down with a copy of IRS Pub 501 and run the numbers on the support worksheet on page 20. This will substantiate who provided what in the way of support and if anyone provided more than 50%, that’s the party who gets the exemption.

I believe in the spiritual aspects of the Catholic practices, e.g. the sacraments of the Catholic Church, I consider them important milestones in life, e.g. baptism, first communion, confirmation, wedding, etc, I believe that Jesus is the son of God, he preached and inspired millions to live better lives, he preached about love, kindness and equality, and I condemn religions that have evil and wicked practices, e.g. human sacrifice, worshiping Satan and other evil deities, etc.

How to improve cellular respiration in animals?
I’m doing a project on how to make cellular respiration more efficient. Currently cells are 40% efficient in making energy. If anyone has any creative idea on how I could improve cellular respiration that would be greatly appreciated.

Cellular respiration is actually one of the most efficient processes of extracting chemical energy (you can’t "make" energy, 1st law of thermodynamics) on the planet and it would be nearly impossible to improve it. But, if you want to think of ways to improve it, think of why it’s not "100%" efficient. For instance, some energy is lost due to protons that travel into the mitochondrial matrix by bypassing ATP synthase, so you could think up some protein that would prevent that.

But in all reality, cellular respiration is just fine. When you say it’s only 40% efficient, you’re saying that 40% of the energy that is contained in our fuel source is preserved and stored in ATP and 60% is "lost" mostly as heat. But remember, we need to keep our bodies at a constant warm temperature, and in some cases we just burn calories to keep that temperature by intentionally letting protons bypass ATP synthase via uncoupling proteins etc.

Actually that is kind of an off-topic question because cell respiration is most effective at 40%. The other 60% is used to build other chemicals for later use, kind of like potential energy.
